This demand goes hand in hand with precise requirements for the installation and maintenance of the products. Professional trainers at the Duravit Technology Center teach how to handle Duravit products in a safe and reliable way.
Technology
For almost twenty-five years Duravit has been offering training programmes for customers, architects, and retail and trade professionals at twelve international locations and training centres. It organises practical and targeted seminars on products, technology, creative planning, communication and management. In Meissen the courses focus on all aspects of technology.
With increasing demands on design, technology and quality of bathrooms, proper installation has become a critical topic. The Duravit Workshop seminar series focuses on the material properties, flushing systems, practical use and installation of ceramic items, SensoWash®, bathroom furniture and wellness products. Participants are invited to install a SensoWash® shower-toilet or a flush-fitting Duraplan shower tray. The Duravit Workshop is designed for plumbers and customer service technicians, but also for showroom and sales staff. Combining real-life installation topics and functioning products, professional trainers provide an in depth curriculum and offer practical tips on how to troubleshoot possible malfunctions.
Ground Floor
A look behind the scenes: on the ground floor visitors can discover how washbasins and bathroom furniture are made and find out about the latest products with innovative technology adapted for intuitive use. The cross-sectional models, working flushing systems and a furniture testing area at the Duravit Technology Center show the functioning and added value of brand products.
Upstairs
On the upper floor the focus is on toilets and washbasins, with numerous freestanding ceramic product displays. Visitors and seminar participants are offered a detailed look at items such as the Blue Moon Pool or the Inipi sauna created by the EOOS design team and can also try out complete bathrooms for themselves.
